Sane : SOUL TO SUMMIT

SOUL TO SUMMIT is a three-day retreat in the Swiss Alps, blending movement, well-being, creativity, and reconnection with nature. Conceived by SANE, this stay gathered an international community around sports and human experiences designed to slow down, find oneself, and build authentic connections.

SOUL TO SUMMIT is a three-day retreat designed with The Cambrian Adelboden, in the heart of the Bernese mountains. Over one weekend, athletes, creatives, and participants from five different countries gathered around a shared desire: to take a step back, reconnect with themselves, and share an authentic experience in the heart of nature. The goal was to create a true parenthesis, far from daily life and the usual pace.

The stay was built around a balance between movement, recovery, and quiet moments. The program included mobility and fascia stretching sessions, trail running, hiking, yoga, meditation, recovery sessions, a sauna, and ice baths. Each activity allowed participants to explore the mountains while providing them with the opportunity to slow down, refocus, and take care of their bodies.

Movement was at the heart of this experience, directly connected to the DNA of SANE. The mornings began with mobility exercises before heading out onto the trails, either running or walking. However, the weekend was not designed as a competition or a performance-based event. Instead, sport was used as a way to discover the environment, build connections, and share simple moments in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

One of the highlights of the stay was the creative workshop centered around the Arvotex collection. Each participant received a t-shirt made from natural fibers, such as Tencel and merino wool, and was then invited to personalize it using the traditional batik technique. The dyeing process, unique to each person, made each piece one of a kind. This experience brought SANE's approach to natural materials to life, transforming a product into a personal item, created and emotionally invested in by the person wearing it.

Beyond the organized activities, the human dimension was essential. Long meals, discussions, shared coffees, improvised walks, and moments spent together helped to create a true connection between the participants. A dinner prepared by the culinary team at The Cambrian further extended this convivial atmosphere. By keeping the group voluntarily small, SOUL TO SUMMIT allowed everyone to take the time to meet others and enjoy a more intimate and sincere experience.

This stay also represents a new step for SANE Active and the SANE Club. Founded by David and Cédric Sane, with Pascal Kobluk, the brand is evolving today beyond the world of running and technical apparel. It now explores the intersection of movement, well-being, community, and daily life. SOUL TO SUMMIT thus constitutes the first chapter of a new format imagined by SANE: creating meaningful experiences, where performance becomes a means and where well-being, connection, and sharing become the true goal.
