OD & ACG Scenography
Within a structure made of black anodized aluminum and clad in oiled charred wood, 8 float frames face each other.
Each frame contains an engraved block of rammed earth, an LCD screen, and white lace. Each of these elements reveals an image from a photo series taken in Chamonix, undergoing a texture variation depending on the medium. The engraved earth distorts the image through its relief, the screen revitalizes it with its brightness and precision, and the lace deconstructs it with its algorithmic-generated gaps.
Thus, these 3 elements establish a dialogue between craftsmanship (earth), technology (screen), and traditional savoir-faire (lace), deconstructing the image in their own way, just as time alters memories.
The installation, through its interplay of textures between charred wood, aluminum, earth, brushed stainless steel, and abstract lace, becomes a rich and diverse landscape in itself, showcasing images and textures in perpetual dialogue.
