OD & ACG Scenography

In a structure made of black anodized aluminum and clad in oiled charred wood, 8 floater frames face each other.

Each frame contains an engraved rammed earth block, an LCD screen, and white lace. Each element reveals an image from a series of photos taken in Chamonix, undergoing a texture variation depending on the medium. The engraved earth distorts the image through its relief, the screen revitalizes it with its brightness and precision, and the lace deconstructs it with its algorithmic-generated lacunary pattern.

Thus, these 3 elements establish a dialogue between craftsmanship (earth), technology (screen), and traditional expertise (lace), and deconstruct the image in their own way, just as time alters memories.

The installation, through its interplay of textures between charred wood, aluminum, earth, brushed stainless steel, and abstract lace, becomes a rich and varied landscape itself, showcasing images/textures in a perpetual dialogue.
