Helinox is a South Korean brand founded in 2009 by Jake Lah, also the creator of DAC, a pioneering company in ultra-light aluminum tubes used for tents. Together with his son Young Lah, he aimed to transpose this expertise to a new domain: portable furniture. The brand name, a contraction of "Helios" (the sun) and "Nox" (the night), symbolizes the balance between lightness, robustness, and adaptability to all environments, from dawn to dusk.
